Microneedling is a baseline treatment
Microneedling has stayed consistent in aesthetics as one of the most highly requested treatments… and for good reason. It’s such a versatile technique known for its noticeable effectiveness in improving fine lines, skin texture, acne scarring, enlarged pores, and uneven skin tone.
It’s no wonder it’s the “golden child” of all skin treatments. Microneedling focuses on improving the skin itself rather than masking concerns
It works by creating controlled micro-injuries in the skin, which triggers your body’s natural healing response. This stimulates collagen and elastin production over time, leading to stronger, smoother, more resilient skin.
It also supports overall skin function, which means your skin not only looks better, it behaves better. One of the biggest benefits is that it works with your skin, not against it. Results build gradually and continue improving as collagen production increases. It also pairs well with treatments like PRF, allowing you to enhance results by delivering growth factors deeper into the skin during the treatment.
What makes it so worth it?
This is one of those treatments that creates real change over time. Instead of an immediate, dramatic shift, it creates consistent and long-term improvement.
With a series of microneedling treatments, you’ll notice
smoother texture
more even skin tone
healthier looking skin overall
It becomes a foundation for everything else you do.
Downtime and what to expect
Downtime is minimal, but it’s important to understand what’s normal.
First 24 hours:
Your skin will feel warm and look red, similar to a sunburn.
You may have mild swelling and sensitivity.
This is expected and part of the healing response. During this time, you want to keep things simple. You’ll want to avoid wearing makeup, sweaty workouts, and heat exposure (like the sun or hot showers).
You’ll want to focus on gentle hydration and the creams I will provide to you to promote healing.
Days 2 to 3:
Redness will start to subside.
Your skin may feel slightly dry or tight. Totally normal and a sign that new, healthy skin is on the way.
You might notice a light, rough texture as your skin begins to renew.
Days 3 to 7:
Your skin continues to improve, any dryness or flaking usually starts to resolve, and this is where the magic happens.
Around this time is when you start to see that smoother, more even appearance come through.
You can typically resume wearing makeup, depending on how your skin feels.
The Foundation for All Skin Care and Treatments
Microneedling is not a one-time treatment, it’s something that builds over time and just keeps getting better.
The more consistent you are, the better your skin responds. Over time, it helps maintain collagen, improve overall quality, and support long-term skin health.
It’s simple, effective, and one of the most reliable ways to improve your skin without overcomplicating your routine.
