Regenerative Aesthetics is Having a Moment
And this is one trend I am VERY here for.
For a long time, aesthetics focused heavily on adding volume.
Where are we losing volume?
Where can we add filler?
What line can we fill?
And while I absolutely still love filler when it’s the right treatment, the conversation is evolving.
Now we’re asking a different question:
How can we improve the quality of the skin and tissue itself?
That’s where treatments like Sculptra, PRF/EZ Gel, microneedling and PDGF come in.
Instead of only thinking about what your face looks like immediately after an appointment, we’re thinking about collagen production, skin quality, tissue health and how we can support the way your face ages over time.
This approach makes so much sense to me. Maybe it’s the nurse in me, but I love treatments that are thoughtful, gradual and designed around your own anatomy.
Filler is one tool, tox is one tool, skin treatments are another, regenerative treatments are another. The best plan is rarely just one of them.
I really believe the future of aesthetics is going to be much less about changing faces and much more about skin longevity, collagen and preserving what makes you look like you.
