Before You Fill Your Under-Eyes…

THIS IS WHY I’M PICKY

Under-eyes are probably one of the areas I’m most conservative with.

If you already wake up puffy, hold fluid around your eyes or notice that allergy season completely changes that area for you, adding filler is not automatically going to make things better.

Sometimes the issue isn’t actually volume.

Because hyaluronic acid filler can attract water, adding more product to an area that is already prone to puffiness can sometimes leave you with more of the exact thing you were trying to improve.

Does that mean I never treat an under-eye? No.

It just means I’m picky.

Sometimes supporting the cheek makes more sense. Sometimes we talk about PRF or EZ Gel. Sometimes I want another specialist to take a look. And sometimes I’m simply going to tell you I wouldn’t touch it.

I know that isn’t always the exciting answer, but I’d rather tell you no than do a treatment just because you came in asking for it.

That is still good aesthetic care.

If your under-eyes are bothering you, come let me actually look at them before deciding what you need.
