This is one of the biggest misconceptions in aesthetics: if two people are bothered by the same thing, they must need the same treatment.
Not necessarily.
Take the lower face.
One person may benefit from structural support with filler. Another may be a candidate for Sculptra to address broader volume changes and stimulate collagen. Someone else may be more concerned with skin texture and benefit from a skin-focused approach instead.
And sometimes, the area you originally came in pointing to isn't actually where we need to start.
This is why I don't approach every consultation with a predetermined treatment in mind.
Botox and Dysport, filler, Sculptra, EZ Gel and skin treatments all serve different purposes. Some address muscle movement, some restore or support structure, some stimulate collagen, and others focus on hydration or skin quality.
They aren't interchangeable, and more isn't automatically better.
Before recommending anything, I want to understand what you're noticing, why it may be happening and what kind of improvement is realistic.
The goal isn't to fit you into a treatment. It's to find the treatment, or combination of treatments, that fits you.
Sometimes that means combining approaches. Sometimes it means starting with one thing. And sometimes it means doing nothing at all for now.
That's the part of aesthetics I care about most.
