What I’m Actually Wearing This Fall

After living out of a suitcase for three weeks with three kids this summer, I came home wanting my closet to be as uncomplicated as humanly possible.

I love fashion.

I do not love outfits that only work if I’m standing perfectly still and nobody spills anything on me.

At this stage of life, I need clothes that work for my actual days:

School drop-off → work → school pick-up → kids’ activities → errands → dinner → bedtime routines → catching up on everything I didn’t get to → repeat.

So this fall I’m leaning heavily into really good basics:

Great denim.
Oversized sweaters.
A structured jacket or blazer.
Simple sneakers.
An everyday bag.
Gold jewelry.

My ideal outfit is something that looks like I tried without requiring me to actually try that hard.

I’m also trying to buy fewer pieces that I genuinely LOVE rather than ordering a bunch of things because they happen to be trending.

My fall mood: neutral, elevated, comfortable + mom-life approved.
