Winter Wardrobe Pieces I’m Currently Loving

Simple, personal styles, plus a couple gift ideas for Christmas!

You know those pieces you keep reaching for because they just make getting dressed easier? That's what I'm all about this winter. A few good staples, cozy layers, and little things that make everyday life feel a bit more special. I'm sharing a few things I've been loving lately, plus a little tradition I look forward to every winter.

The Miss Cindy Jacket

Show Me Your Mumu

Give me a jacket that makes an outfit feel pulled together without having to try too hard. I love a good statement layer that works with everyday denim but still feels special enough to wear out to dinner. This is the kind of piece I'd reach for on a chilly Colorado day.

The Cove Cashmere Sweater

Reformation

An oversized cashmere sweater is pretty much my winter love language. This is the kind of piece I'd wear on repeat with jeans, whether I'm running around with the kids, grabbing coffee, or heading out to dinner. Simple, comfortable, and still feels pulled together.

The Western Boot

Free People · Brayden Western Boots

These are such a fun way to add a little something extra to an otherwise simple outfit. I'd wear them with straight-leg denim, the Cove Cashmere sweater, and the Miss Cindy Jacket. An easy outfit formula that doesn't take much thought, which is always a win.

The Gather Candle

Anthropologie · Woody White Pine & Cashmere

This is the one I used in my friendship gifts this year, and the scent feels so fitting for winter. Woodsy, warm, and cozy without feeling overly sweet. It's also a lovely gift if you're looking for something thoughtful that doesn't require a huge budget.

The Capri Blue Volcano Candle

If woodsy winter scents aren't your thing, this is a fun alternative. It's bright, fresh, and citrusy, and I love that the decorative vessel looks pretty sitting out on a coffee table or kitchen counter.

One of my favorite things to do every winter is leave a little gift on my friends' front steps just to say, “I'm grateful for your friendship.”

Nothing fancy or over the top. Just a little something to let the people I love know I'm thinking about them. Life gets so busy, especially this time of year, and I think it's easy to forget to tell our friends how much they mean to us.

This year, I put together a little bundle with the Anthropologie Gather Candle in Woody White Pine & Cashmere, cozy cloud socks from Amazon, and a locally made jar of delicious jam.

I had so much fun putting these together, and I love that it doesn't have to be a birthday, a holiday, or a special occasion to do something thoughtful for someone.

Sometimes the best gifts are the ones that show up on an ordinary day, just because.

If you're looking for a little way to make a friend's day this winter, consider this your reminder. It doesn't have to be expensive or elaborate. A few thoughtful things and a little note can go a long way.
